About

I am a visual artist based in Edmonton, Alberta. With a doctorate in environmental economics, I am interested in visual accounts of the human conditions across the world in a changing climate. I mostly produce and exhibit photographic works that inform painting in watercolour and printmaking. My works on the Mackenzie delta and multiple exposures on 35mm film have been exhibited in various venues in Canada. My account of receding Canadian glaciers has been shortlisted for BarTur Photo Award 2021. I like experimenting with layers, warped horizons in film panoramas, and real-time multiple exposures in film and digital - rendering ambiguity. Sometimes I just take a picture of a colour because I want to remember it.

My photography and paintings are stories of moments I have been in, imagined, and dreamt of.
